"One does not have to be with [Rev. Samuel Simpson] long to discover
his deep pastoral commitment and the strong sense of vocation which is
his spiritual motivation. [He has written this] book from a practical
standpoint, born of personal experience. The book is autobiographical,
not theoretical, and offers a personal testimony to the grace of God...
No one will be able to read this book without recognizing that true
Christian mission stems from the clear call of God, and is shaped by
the twin thrusts of fervent evangelism and compassionate social
concern."

Former Secretary of the Baptist Union of
Great Britain (1982-1991)

someone who calls you "my friend."
